In our continued effort to bring quality training opportunities to Northern Michigan communities, Northern Family Intervention Services, Inc., in collaboration with Pine Rest Traverse City Clinic, developed our Annual "It Takes A Village Conference & Workshops" which offers Michigan-accredited continuing education credits (CE's) for social workers and other working professionals in human services. This conference, which began as the Annual "Spring Fling" for NFIS staff, features a number of compelling, expert speakers and sessions working to solve problems that Northern Michigan families face everyday. This year is our Fourth Annual It Takes A Village Conference & Workshops and will take place at the Holiday Inn West Bay Conference Center.
Paid registration must be completed by Friday, April 23, 2010 to participate.
>> It is possible to pay and register on-site, but there is no guarantee for lunch service or printed conference materials.<<
>>> State-registered social workers are required to register by the deadline to facilitate compliance with the State Board of Certifiers. <<<
This year's conference brings together the best local and regional presenters and coordinators addressing solutions to the problems of Northern Michigan families from poverty to special diagnoses and concerns, education to substance abuse, and family empowerment strategies with a special focus on improving human services systems in our area.
